Curriculum

The Pre-K classroom uses the Handwriting Without Tears program for practicing pre-writing activities and the ACSI Language Arts program for literature.  Basic skills in phonics, reading readiness, listening and thinking skills, math and printing are taught, along with activities in social studies and science.  Monthly lessons are thematic in nature and Bible truths and verses are integrated throughout each day.

Each Class Schedule Includes:

• Gathering Time
• Circle Time: Story Concept Introduction, Large Group Activities
• Learning Centers: Child-directed, Teacher supported developmentally appropriate activities
• Playground Time: Large Motor and Creative Expression
• Music and Movement
• P.E. and Music classes weekly
• Scriptures Bites: Bible Lesson, Music, Drama
• Monthly Chapel Time

Lunch Bunch (Optional)
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 11:45 am – 12:45 pm
Children bring their own lunch
